| Supermoto racer, Carl Abram with support from his racing team, based in Reading, competes in the 450cc class of NORAsport’s Supermoto championship. Also, the team race at selected European events like the Mettet Superbiker race, which is contested by the world’s finest Supermotard competitors as well as road race world champions like Troy Corser and leading Motocross exponents like multiple world champion Stephan Everts. Supermoto racing is catching on fast in the UK, thanks to championships like the NORAsport series, but has a long way to go to catch up with the popularity of European Supermoto racing where the sport was first seen through the Guidon d’Or races in the 1980s. Supermoto paddocks are well known for their friendly atmosphere, Supermoto racing is always close and spectacular, offering great value to spectator and Supermoto competitor alike. If you have not yet experienced the atmosphere and excitement of a Supermoto race meeting, give it a try, you may well be converted! We were. |
